Remember Calvary

Life so often becomes a task and results in us getting discouraged.

Often times I think about how many times I complain in a day and how many times I hear complaints? How would life sound if the cries of complaints turned into complete gratitude? It would surely sound completely ratified.

How do we reach this ratified lifestyle? We remember Calvary. We remember the Perfect One who left Heaven to die for me. We remember the 39 stripes across His back, the holes in His hands and feet, and the crown of thorns that was placed upon His head. We remember the cross thrown over His shoulder. We remember the persecution and hatred He must’ve faced. We remember the tears He wept. We remember the last painful breath He breathed, yet never once did He beg the King, “take it away from me”.

So, Lord, humble me as I remember Calvary.
